The Marxist/islamist/DSA wing of the democrat party coming for any democrat that doesn’t pass their ideological truth litmus tests regardless of their beliefs. If you want to destroy this country you’d be for open borders importing millions of indigent, uneducated and hyper religious (think sharia law), you’d be for eliminating the police, eliminating jails and prisons so that crime would be rampant, you’d be for “equity” taking from “the billionaires (and whoever else is deemed “rich”) transferring it to the downtrodden “oppressed”, you’d be like Scott Weiner for transgenderism and it’s indoctrination of children in their schools including making it ok to rape children of the same sex as long as your less than ten years older than them, you’d be for eliminating merit as it’s “racist” and holds down the oppressed, you’d be for mainlining virulent antisemitic Islamist politicians and getting them elected (mamdani). You’re for silencing and ostracizing anyone whose speech in all forms does not conform to the complete ideological agenda. All democrats, in fact all voters should watch these videos of the DSA/islamists getting rid of Weiner who is a gay, uber progressive, pro trans state senator who himself has made California a gay/trans sanctuary. These are the people that were recently advanced in primaries in NYC by the useful idiot white, over educated unable to find jobs because “queer theory or gender theory etc” as a major doesn’t get you a good paying job. These angry, aggrieved, guilty, virtue signaling voters especially all over the country should watch these videos and ask themselves do they really want to elect the kind of people following and screaming and condemning someone like Scott Weiner to positions of power in our federal government. They should read or reread 1984 and think long and hard about their choices.
But "decade of legislative work protecting trans lives..." He wasn't. It's not protecting these kids to push for unsupported medical interventions! He's pushing for dangerous life altering interventions and saying it's because he cares about these kids. If he really did want to protect their lives he'd want the evidence and would have read the HHS report!

The video was very disturbing. I think where you go off-base is implying that what happens in San Francisco and New York City is representative of the Democratic Party nationally.
As a political reporter in Iowa, I can tell you that the left wing is very marginal in the Democratic Party here. We have not seen DSA candidates win primaries for any state or federal offices.
Sadly the Republican nominee for governor in my state, Zach Lahn, said earlier this year that he was honored to do an interview with Tucker Carlson (who platforms antisemitism to an audience of millions). A couple of months later, Lahn said he was honored to be endorsed by the former member of Congress Steve King, known for his bigoted and white supremacist comments. And Lahn and his supporters have repeatedly used antisemitic dog whistles, like emphasizing that the Democratic candidate accepted contributions from George Soros and Reid Hoffman (Hoffman is not Jewish but many people think he is).
There isn’t one country, in the world, where the United States doesn’t provide assistance. I am including Russia, North Korea, and Iran…
The Democrats have whittled down their agenda to a single foreign policy, not domestic but foreign.
Timing suggests this isn’t a coincidence; in 2024 the Democrats used this as a tool against President Trump and from that point forward, it became a litmus test.
The Democrats just want to win, in the same way that Lincoln wanted to keep the Union together. Both would do virtually anything; in Lincoln’s case he chose the Slavery issue over all other issues. The Democrats have chosen Gaza over all other issues (mainly because the other issues are failing) and that is tenuous since it isn’t anchored within the United States. It’s guilt by association (refer to my initial comment) not aid. The Dems have bundled everything Jewish into a single complaint… Gaza. If you take money from AIPAC you hate Palestine, if you go to a synagogue you hate Palestine, if you eat a pastrami sandwich you hate Palestine.
This is an all-in approach, if this doesn’t work, they no longer exist. Re-labeling will begin after the last rites are given…
This is pure 1984. The erasure of objective truth, the death of history, newspeak, the destruction of independent thought and, ultimately, tyranny. As a fellow human being, I would pity him, if I were allowed to.
Reporting with camera in 2017 at a Trans event early in SF pride week we witnessed a similar moment. Representative Evan Low was present in suit and tie and prepared to speak to a relatively sparse gathering.
Before he was introduced an Individual shouted him down. Though he had done so much for the gay and lesbian community “you haven’t done shit for the Trans community, you don’t know us”
The moderator/host attempted to calm the Heckler and control the crowd. I have just a few moments. Evan simply walked away.
It was noteworthy, and we reported it as such. Today the hijacking of anything close to the Middle ground by the screams and indignation of those in either extreme have claimed the main line of discourse.
I’m not sure the way forward. Perhaps candidates interested in reasonable discourse and debate should reject stunts like the Yes/No placard litmus test.
But of course, that would require all of us as consumers/voters to improve our game.
The best thing that could happen to America would be the death of the Democratic Party. It no longer serves the American people. Weiner and other truly compassionate and Liberal members should form a new party. Get on with it, it will do us ALL much good.
