I have often said that. Let's assume there was a deep state conspiracy to kill JFK, and they pulled it off essentially as a perfect murder. All these years later no concrete proof of a conspiracy. Journalists like me think it is Oswald. Although the conspirators did everything right, does anyone really believe that the one mistake they made was to send over a copy of smoking gun document to the National Archives so it could be disclosed one day to the public??? Any such document would have long ago been destroyed.
If there’s something in all of these files that point to a conspiracy with Oswald more than one person would have seen it. As Vincent Bugliosi said - “3 people can keep a secret, if two of them are dead”. But folklore never dies

If a conspiracy involving the CIA is assumed, why on earth would you expect anything implicating the CIA to see the light of day, ever?
