I have also noted that the completely indefensible denial of October 7 started and grew with intellectually justifiable equivocations about the attacks, then came intellectual plausible claims of Israeli maltreatment of Gazans, and then spread to arguable accusations of dishonesty against the Israelis... all of this set-up a claim for Hamas being on-balance, more oppressed, and intellectually lazy westerners like cognitive neatness: they are predisposed to reject any details that do not fit into the binary judgment of "Hamas better than Israel", and they don't look at the specific details when the media fails to confront them with these damning details.

On Oct 8 or 9, I emailed pretty much every group that I could think of. My suggestion was to create a publicly accessible database of pictures, first-person accounts, and documents about Oct 8. I am not an important person, and no one paid any attention. Sure enough, the "Oct 7 Massacre Denialism" industry is going full speed ahead. There should be pictures of the raped women who were mutilated. There should be pictures of the dead babies. As it is, now, we see nothing but pictures from Gaza. Israel is losing because they did not document this. EVEN THOUGH SOME PICTURES WOULD BE BRUTAL, they should be out there.
