This is AMAZING and WONDERFUL! I feel that the trans movement, as they want to define it, is the ultimate in cultural appropriation. Having the outward appearance of a female has nothing to do with what it is to be a woman any more than changing your outward appearance to look like you are Asian and dressing in traditional Asian clothing can make you of Asian descent.

It may be a narrow ruling specific to the case of Scotland’s laws for representation in public boards.

<< The court, however, addressed that concern in its ruling. It added that its verdict “does not remove protection from trans people.” >>

Does it void “gender recognition certificates” for other women’s spaces that have been invaded? As those who claim “gender identity” of the opposite sex, the idea that there are “trans rights” demanded, which of those rights do not displace women’s rights?

Any areas where rights are sex-specific must default to women

(As the disturbance is nearly always caused by claims made by “MTWs”). We’ll see, it will be challenged in practice in other spaces.

Well this has taken a very long road that should’ve have been taken. Trans women are men. Congratulations to womankind in the UK! 🇬🇧

A great day and legal grounding to fight back and protect gender critical women. There are still problems ahead as GRAs give men the right to change birth certificates to gender of choice, to change work records and they cannot be asked to show one. Conflict can still arise but the court gives a legal basis to challenge men trying to gain entry to women's spaces. The fight continues.

In the woke UK? Unheard of. Now is the time to celebrate this and seize the momentum for the fight for biological female rights and protections in the US. Enough of this nonsense. The moneyed trans backers need to know that they can’t force us to buy their gender bending ideology, and force us all to bend to their will.

It is such a great win.

I particularly like para 171 "The definition of sex in the EA 2010 makes clear that the concept of sex is binary, a person is either a woman or a man. Persons who share that protected characteristic for the purposes of the group-based rights and protections are persons of the same sex and provisions that refer to protection for women necessarily exclude men. Although the word “biological” does not appear in this definition, the ordinary meaning of those plain and unambiguous words corresponds with the biological characteristics that make an individual a man or a woman. These are assumed to be self-explanatory and to require no further explanation. Men and women are on the face of the definition only differentiated as a grouping by the biology they share with their group."

The concept of woman must expand to include me because I was born female. However I can never truly know what it feels like to be a male.

An it is great that you are fighting for women's innate rights. So . . . you feel the same about birth control and abortion too! Awesome, we will spread the word!

There needs to be some victories for men. Men voted for Trump because the Democrats have told men to pound sand for 30 years. Trade schools need to be funded, men’s health needs to be funded. Young men need to be shown a path to prevent them from dropping out of society.
