Reuters: Exclusive: Prosecutor freezes accounts of ex-Vatican bank heads

Prosecutors have frozen the accounts of three former top moneymen, including the man who ran the Vatican Bank for 19 years. The charges center around embezzlement in the multi-million dollar sales by the church of dozens of prime Rome properties during the past decade.
The more things change the more they seem to stay the same; at least when it comes to the finances of the Vatican.
