But...but...but... if we don't make our profits, we can't afford to research and develop new life-saving medications." The next time you or I hear this tired trope from the medical establishment, call bullshit.
I’m bipolar medication free for 27 years - I explain I’m not anti medication just believe people are over medicated - created a system back in 1998 whilst in hospital which meant I was treated as an individual not a set of symptoms & my schizophrenic client after 13 sessions from 2017-18 was asked to see his psychiatrist who offered him a 3 year plan to become medication free. Everything went a bit sideways because he withdrew before the plan started & he ended up being sectioned by the police but here’s what’s important: he went to his GP for help because he realised that he was becoming unwell as he’d come off his medication. Got sectioned but was out within 2 weeks - he’s back on medication but believes my system is still helping him
Thank you for your advocacy against putting profits over patients.
Obviously no one should celebrate a death.
Serious question: Do you think it was right for the Oxford Union to invite Charlie Kirk to debate there after what he said about the attack on Paul Pelosi?
Wow and thank you ....!
Charlie Kirk was the best of us.
Bravo regarding your position on Kirk.

How do you reconcile your ardent free speech advocacy with your immediately subsequent deriding of the hateful comments by Abaraonye?
If words have consequences which lead to harm, violence or death, surely uttering those words should not be an allowed freedom?
There is also common decency.
True, but a bit like hate speech, people’s definition of that is somewhat variable.

Not exactly civil discourse.
Out of context .. and now is not the time.
It’s on topic. The post was about civil debate and the Oxford Union’s standards.
