Four Days In November showing next month...
TCM to air the 1964 documentary Four Days in November on 11/21.
The director and producer, Mel Stuart, got together with Root's producer, David Wolper, to option Case Closed in 1993. They came 'this close' to getting it one on NBC as a miniseries.
When Wolper later wrote his autobiography, Producer, he said that while he made 29 movies for TV, he had three career disappointments he could not get on air: Case Closed; Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystique; and Timothy Naftali's Secret History of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
