Countdown to the JFK Assassination
50 years ago today, Lee Oswald donned a tie on a sweltering New Orleans August day and handed out his pro-Castro "Fair Play for Cuba" leaflets. To make it appear he wasn't just a one-man show, he stopped by unemployment office earlier that morning and paid a couple of guys $2 each to help him out for 30 minutes. To Oswald's delight, Johann Rush, a cameraman for a local TV station, briefly filmed him. This is a frame from that film.
